3 lembar daun jeruk

Cara Membuat:
Bersihkan Ikan: Cuci bersih ikan, buang sisik dan insangnya. Lumuri dengan air jeruk nipis untuk menghilangkan bau amis. Diamkan selama 15-20 menit, lalu bilas kembali hingga bersih.
Haluskan Bumbu: Blender atau ulek semua bumbu halus (bawang merah, bawang putih, kunyit, ketumbar, merica, garam, dan gula pasir) hingga benar-benar halus.
Tumis Bumbu: Tumis bumbu halus dengan sedikit minyak goreng hingga harum. Masukkan daun salam, daun jeruk, serai, jahe, dan lengkuas yang sudah dimemarkan. Aduk rata hingga bumbu matang dan mengeluarkan aroma yang sedap.
Ungkep Ikan: Masukkan ikan ke dalam wajan atau panci. Tuang bumbu yang sudah ditumis ke atas ikan. Tambahkan air secukupnya hingga ikan terendam sebagian.
Masak Hingga Matang: Masak ikan dengan api sedang hingga bumbu meresap dan air menyusut. Balik ikan sesekali agar matang merata. Proses ungkep biasanya memakan waktu sekitar 20-30 menit, tergantung jenis dan ukuran ikan. Pastikan ikan matang sempurna, namun jangan sampai terlalu hancur.
